Welcome to ChatBoard! ChatBoard is a speech-to-text product provided by Mutacore Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “Mutacore”). Through the ChatBoard Privacy Policy we help you understand how we collect, use, store, and share personal information, as well as the rights you enjoy.
We value user privacy. When you use our services, we may collect and use information related to you. Through this ChatBoard Privacy Policy, we explain how we collect, use, store, and share such information when you use our services, and how we provide access, updates, control, and protection of this information. This policy is closely related to the services you use. Please read it carefully and, when necessary, make choices you deem appropriate in accordance with this policy.

During your use of the ChatBoard service, to enable you to use the corresponding functions or services, we collect and use the information you actively provide or information generated during use as follows:
1.1 When you use the speech recognition feature, we need to obtain the original transcription of your speech recognition for saving your speech recognition record.
1.2 After you use the ChatBoard app and agree to the privacy agreement, we collect network type and IP address information to request network access and provide you with stable services; when the app encounters an exception, we collect device-related information (including Android ID, SN, device model, operating system name, operating system version, and runtime exception information of the application), desensitize the exception information, and use it to troubleshoot exceptions, locate causes, and perform relevant data analysis.
1.3 When you use the Help & Feedback feature, we record the issue content submitted under your current account to save your feedback record.
1.4 When you launch ChatBoard for the first time and agree to this privacy policy, we collect Android ID, SN, device model, operating system name, operating system version, and runtime exception information of the application to troubleshoot problems, locate causes, and conduct data analysis.
2. How We May Use the Information
We may use the information collected during the service process for the following purposes:
2.1 Provide services to you;
- When providing services, use it for identity verification, customer service, security prevention, fraud detection, archiving, and backup purposes to ensure the security of the products and services we provide to you;
- Help us design new services and improve existing services;
- Software authentication or management of software upgrades;
- Jointly operate products with our affiliated companies, such as channel cooperation and brand collaboration;
2.2 Enable you to participate in surveys about our products and services.
2.3 Service-related announcements
When necessary (for example, when a service is suspended for system maintenance), we may send you service-related announcements. You may not be able to opt out of these non-promotional service-related announcements.
3. Exceptions to Obtaining Authorization and Consent for Collecting and Using Your Personal Information

Please understand that the functions and services we provide are continuously updated. If certain functions or services are not described above but collect your information, we will describe the content, scope, and purpose of information collection separately via page prompts, interactive processes, or website announcements to obtain your consent. Please note that we currently do not proactively obtain your personal information from third parties. If we need to indirectly obtain your personal information from third parties for business development in the future, we will inform you of the source, type, and scope of use before obtaining it. If the personal information processing activities required for our business exceed the scope of authorization you originally granted when providing personal information to the third party, we will obtain your authorization and consent before processing. In addition, we will strictly comply with relevant laws and regulations and require the third party to guarantee the legality of the information provided.
4. Device Permission Usage
To ensure that our functions and services can operate properly, we need to request the necessary permissions corresponding to the specific scenarios of information collection described above, and obtain your consent via pop-up prompts before invoking them. Sensitive permissions such as the microphone and speech recognition are not enabled by default. They are only authorized when you explicitly agree. Please be aware that obtaining a sensitive permission does not mean we will necessarily collect your related information; even with sensitive permissions granted, we will only collect your information when necessary and in accordance with this policy.

III. How We Store and Protect Your Personal Information
1. Information Storage
In general, we only store your personal information for the period necessary to achieve the service purposes or as required by laws and regulations.
We store personal information collected within China within the territory of China in accordance with laws and regulations. We currently do not transfer or store your personal information across borders. If cross-border transfer or storage becomes necessary in the future, we will inform you of the purpose, recipient, security measures, and security risks of the outbound transfer and obtain your consent.
2. Security Protection Measures
We work hard to ensure the security of user information to prevent information leakage, loss, misuse, unauthorized access, and disclosure. For example, we complete part of the information encryption locally on your device to secure transmission; we understand the application information installed on your device and its running processes to prevent malicious programs such as viruses and Trojans.
We have established dedicated management systems, processes, and organizations to ensure personal information security. For example, we strictly limit the personnel authorized to access information, require them to fulfill confidentiality obligations, and conduct audits. Personnel who violate confidentiality obligations will be punished in accordance with regulations. We also review these management systems, processes, and organizations to prevent unauthorized personnel from accessing, using, or disclosing user information.
We recommend that you take full precautions to protect your personal information when using our products and services. We also provide multiple security features to help you protect your personal information.
3. Handling Security Incidents
If a security incident such as a personal information leak, damage, or loss occurs, we will initiate an emergency plan to prevent the incident from escalating. After a security incident occurs, we will promptly inform you of the basic situation, the measures we are taking or have taken, remedial measures, and our suggestions to you through push notifications, emails, or other means. If it is difficult to notify each individual, we will issue a warning through announcements.
4. Notice When Products or Services Cease Operation
If our products or services cease operation, we will notify you via push notifications, announcements, and other forms. Within a reasonable period, we will delete your personal information or anonymize it, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations.

To achieve the purposes stated in this policy, some of our services are provided by partners to ensure smooth delivery, such as entrusting logistics companies for delivery or engaging service providers to assist with customer support.
